I can't say enough about my Korg I2. I use 2 in my keyboard rig, and am looking for a 3rd one. I like them that much. Sure, both have some quirks about them, but I've been gigging with them for over 8 years, and they are both rock-solid. I'm not going to say it is the best board ever made, as I have been having some problems with the output jacks several times, but those kind of things don't really bother me, as that happens with all my boards. I'm sure that comes from constant setup / teardown from gig to gig. As far as sounds, well, no board is perfect (yet) but I would still use my I2 in any situation, either for piano, organ, strings, and especially horns. I wish the horns could be a little bit more expressive/touch sensitive like the Roland XP-80, but they still sound pretty authentic.

I completely disagree with i2 review published.
I have been a korg i2 owner for 2 years and must say it is a very good board.
The thing that is most inaccurate, in my opinion, is the sound avaliation grade to i2 sounds. It's strings are actually very good, and so is the piano and choir,etc...
I have also done some demo track using only i2 as a keyboard, and the final arrengement keeps pros musicians impressed...
Thanks,
Adriano.
