Just got one of these of ebay for 50 pounds. I´ve been wanting one of these a long time, but cant justify the price of a new one. It´s great fun for instant effects an ideas althought to be honest I will not be using a lot of the effects on final studio productions, although a couple of them are preety good. I will for sure be part of my live act, as an fx unit, but mostly I got this to use as a midi controller and it rocks as one. Its a bit of a crappy plastic box, but to be honest I couldn care less. Less weight to be constantly taking in my xtra full live act backpack. For the price I payed I find if a 5, but for the price it costs new its a 3.

I picked up my Kaoss Pad off ebay for about a hundred bucks and it was well worth it. This thing is extremely fun and easy to use and can add effects to any line level source. I use it for just about everything from adding effects to synths and vocals or hooking up to turntable/cd player and jamming out dj style. All in all, a great addition to any home studio/dj set up...or for anyone that just wants to be creative and have fun.
