Just got one. This thing is really intuitive to use and thats why I got it. I have never found such an FX unit. This is a keeper for sure. Im going to use it on just about everything. I like how small it is, so I can easily transport it and alos move it around in the studio without a fuss.

I bought this thing for added control when doing a remix but I got far more than I expected. Full time control fx all literally at the palms of my hands.

Hell this thing even has a 1 second sampler on it for ultra-extended delay or sampling an instrument sound in to actually play a sample through the item as an effect, almost like a carrier signal vocoder.

If you can't see the beauty in this device then you really didn't spend the time to really learn what it was. This thing is an invoative piece of art and I'm more than happy to have it added to my studio.

you obviously became bored with it because you weren't using your imagination. if you would've purchased one, you would've read in the manual what forms of manipulation on the pad would produce certain desired effects. i sold mine so i could upgrade my mixer and the buyer solely bought it for the purpose of adding efx to his voice. for that purpose alone he was able to visualize his needs and quickly accomplish his desired effect. as i have found out from experience with different music tools, you cannot always create that great sound or effect overnight. electronic music can be very painstaking most of the time, but it's well worth it. the fact is that this thing is phat for dj's and musiciand, and it is very user-friendly. next time, bring your discman with you and try adding those efx to some of your favorite songs and if you think that it still sux, then at least you would have put a little more effort into researching this product.
