I have been in music for over 20 years and I have to say that this machine will start a revolution in music. It R0X! You can be a newbie and make great sounds or a pro and get into the machine to make the music you have been longing for. I highly recommend it. I look forward to newer versions that offer 88 weighted keys and sampling too! I give it a 5+!

Tim Carroll a professional user from USA writes:
The Korg Karma begins a new era in synthesized sound, it is an incredible machine, i have been playing around with one for several months, and i have to say i have not seen anything better, it is incredibally user friendly, the sounds are out of this world.... just a step lower than the Korg Triton, sequencer wise, it is a jump forward in realtime music manipulation. it has hundreds of sounds packed into a 61 note keyboard, but is not like others, it is smaller, and compact, half the size of its predacessor the Triton..... and if you buy one, check out these sounds; "alpha mega synth", "cybergroove", "first light".... and all of the orchestra sounds are incredible.!!!!!

lo-phile a professional user from U.S.A writes:
I work in a store that sells the KARMA. I am primarily an upright bass player, but I screw around on the keys. This keyboard has enabled me to write and arrange songs that I have had difficulty charting out for other musicians. I am bringing one home tomorrow to try it out at my leisure(a benefit from working in a music store). I am not sure that I am going to buy it, but right now I am impressed with it. It is easy to sequence, easy to create beats, and the KARMA feature is intuitive if you spend some time with it. I have to agree the keys are flimsey, but I do not aspire to be Art Tatum! For an upright player who desires more freedom in composition this keyboard seems to be sufficient, and at times beautiful.

Thunderz2000 from england writes:
When I first played the Karma its obvious that this albeit flimsy packaged synth contains the heart of a lion. So i agree it dosent feel the best keyboard in the world when u play it and there are concerns over that flimsy joystick and external power supply. but this keyboard offers the songwriter inspiration on some of those darker days when the creative juices wont flow. i love it. i think it will end up a classic in its own right and not some white elephant as a lot of people say. it takes a while to get your head around its interface and ge's but when u do u realise that the power of this machine is bordering on incredible. anything that stimulates such controversy and opinion has already thrust this magnificent synth into the classic zone for a long while to come. buy it or decry it its here to stay.

Bob a professional user from Toronto, Canada writes:
I've just bought the unit couple of weeks ago. I haven't worked much but so far looks really good. The sounds are awesome. I'm trying to work with the sequencer etc. Please email me if you have any tips about sequencing with karma or any other suggestion, lets communicate and make a good use of this wonderful equipment and technology.

/Bob
