Well let me say... I completley skipped over this thing, because of it's size I didn't pay much attention to it, I didn't think something that small could possibly be useful, that was until I started to play with the thing. Let's just say I ended up buying one immediately afterward. I guess my Triton won't be alone anymore.

Mombo a part-time user from Berlin writes:
This synthesizer with its filter is sooo musical. I have a lot of stuff, analog, digital and VA: Roland MKS-80, Juno 60/106, JD-800, Nordlead-2, SH-101, YAMAHA S-90, JV-2080, just to mention a few.

Yesterday I started to program this baby and programmed a certain pad-sound, I couldn't believe the results!! In all cutoff / reso positions it sounded great and so deep! This is something not self-evident at all. The Nord can sound so tiny sometimes, in general you have to search for good sounds. Here the basic sound is already fine from the beginning. Somebody says: you cannot expect this to sound good compared to some "BIG STUFF" (Virus, whatever). Boy, you are so wrong. By the way, I don't particularly like the presets. It is like a beatiful girl put in the most ugly clothing.

little and nice, i never owned one but had the chance to play with. not the most powerful synth around, but has many of the features of the ms2000 (nice but overpriced synth imo), fun and easy to use (which i think is an extremely important feature) and, last but not least, its smallness makes it very easy to carry around, and you can easily welcome it in your live arsenal as a third/fourth sound source.

of course, don't expect to get hey-i-cant-believe-its-digital analog emulation, earthquake like trance basses and wavestation pads. it's a "micro" synthesizer after all, and it often sounds toyish. of course it will NOT replace any of your professional machines.

it suits very fine lo-fi pop/rock/electronica, DEVO like stuff, chip music, and it's very good for beginners. almost a must have if you find one for less than 250 euros.

Great Keyboard and Synth

I use it as a Synth and love to use my Alesiss Q7 as a Master Keyboard. Great sounds. It's 2006. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A GREAT SNTH CHEAP!

Neutron a hobbyist user from Russia writes:
Coolest device! Low price, small size, absolutely unique (and very nice!) electronic sounds, very handy minikeys, simple "dialing"... I've got Waldorf MicroQ and Virus B, but I'm still using this little wonder as master-keyboard and as a source of some cool sounds.

Very suitable as "the only synth" for beginners - just add computer with multitracker program, turn arpeggiator on and you're cool electronic musician. :)
