I really dig this little board. Its too cool not to own. You can go anywhere and set up the groove. I cant imagine doing that with soft synths or laptop. People would only laugh at you and say, "oh look, he's doing musici on his laptap! HOW LAME!!" puh-lease!! some of us are not into the techno geek thang, we are still using instruments over here. For a techno geek nerd, there is nothing better than a laptop and soft everything! I like hardware!! AND so does my girlfriend!! AND my wife too! Soft does NOT cut it. But the MicroKorg if you want a punchy ballsy kickass sound in a tiny footprint. The technogeeknerd will cower in his hole and fold up his rig when he hears this baby. MicroKorg is awesome. I used to own the MS2000r and its good too, but this is the real deal for me. I have sold my MS2000r and this MicroKorg goes with me everywhere I go now. I have never seen a piece of hardware that is so small do so much. Makes a cool little portable MIDI controller too!

I have sell this micro-monster only because have already an ms2000r... This is a best solution for go around the world width a polysynth in the hear!!! before selling it i don't use it in studio, i go around width the synth in the bag and play it all over the city, lake, sea, mountain... Fun, very fun, the sound is same at ms2000, but the programming is very laborious and slow...

u could buy soft synths, for portability,on a laptop, and for space saving this would be the smalest solution,,,so why buy a micro i ask?

Exactly! Well said! The "smallness" of this piece is WHY it is so friggin cool! We are all getting older and tired of lugging 60lbs synths around. Its quite a relief to have something so portable that is SO powerful. The name itself containing the word "micro" means just that "micro" and its a Godsend for those who want "micro" like me. I have a whole case full of "micro" gear and im shrinking my whole studio into "smaller" gear so I have more room to work. so "micro" gear is the future for me.

Umm... I think the small keys and batteries are the point of this synth. If you want full keys get the MS2000. Think about it a little. Anyone that complains about the small keys should have picked one up with full sized keys, the MS2000. Duh? 4 for the portability, power and price. BTW, I thought there was a sameness to many of the sounds until I relized I left the effects on when programming patches. Turning the effects off, I was able to get past this "sameness."
