A GREAT synth capable of sounds that the digital keyboards can only DREAM of. Forget the JP8000. It won't be able to produce the raw exciting sounds of the Minikorg. The controls are cool too, realtime tweaking is so fun!

I have one of these lovely synths myself and while it is very basic, e.g. no midi, most configs hardwired, it has a lot of character indeed. It is an organ-style synth, as in it has the controls on the front under the keyboard, instead of on the top, designed to be put on top of your home organ. It has big chunky wooden sides, and bright colour coded knobs and dials. The best bit of it is the filters- which are absolutely incredible, from the highest squeel to the lowest bass rumble you've ever heard. The worst bit is probably the plasticy keyboard that seems a bit fragile. Put it like this- I'd never sell mine...
