When compared to its competition, the Korg MS2000 delivers more for under $1,000 than most of them can deliver for over $2,000. I'm not saying it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it's a heck of a Synth for the money. Great sounds. Great expression. If you are looking for a great feeling keyboard or some really fine wood ... well ... buy a piano.

The Korg MS-2000, in my opinion, sounds as good as if not better than the other virtual analogs which are 2 and 3 times the price. This is the first "virtual" that sounds realistic to the originals and then some. I am very happy. I would highly recommend it as a fruitful addition to anyone who wants some warm, colorful and inspiring sounds in their song works.

I don't care what anyone says: it's an excellent synth which begs to be delved into (not that you have to go far) and delivers some of the best analog emulation you could hope for from a VA.
Sure, the overall construction is a bit flimsy BUT the sonic quality is what you should be looking for when you spend money on a synth.
People who complain about the Korg MS2000 are the very same folk who moan about the legroom in the backseat of a Porsche.

Hi,
Just thought I'd mention that my experience of the MS2000 is nothing like Fredericks - I think it's a fantastic little synth and a great addition to my normal rig, although certainly not all encompassing in it's scope or intent. I originally posted a review against the MS2000R so check it out.
All the best,
Doug
