Great pice of kit altogether, agree with earlier comment that the Piano sounds on Rolands are better but the organs and synths on this instrument totally kick ass!

its got everything i need. if i could find a stand that could take it i would have 3 N1s stacked in my rig

I've had an N1 for many years, and the N1 has always been my best buddy. First thing is the keys of it, very expensive EPs doesn't have N1's touch. Second is it has good piano sounds, organ sounds and pad sounds, perfect for gigs and any arrangement jobs. Powerful drum set which sure provides cool building blocks for all kinds of music. Price? not to mention, you can't find a full size keyboard at this price.

D Lister a hobbyist user from UK writes:
The N1 is a great keyboard for either synth playing or learning piano without taking up the space of an acoustic piano. The 88 keys are perfectly weighted and the sounds are top notch. The screen and functions take a bit of getting used to but fine after that. The N1 is a bit heavy but this reflects the build quality of the instrument. If you buy one, get a heavy duty stand, one for a portable keyboard will shake which could look odd on stage!

Robin Moree a part-time user from The Netherlands writes:
While shopping around for a synth, the N1 came in sight. Budget and soundwise it was the best choice for me at that moment, and I bought one.

The sounds are great, sometimes some dudes say the sounds are thin, but in a mix this only an advantage, as many synths sound "great, large or fat" in the store, but sounds should be considered in a mix......

Then the way it is build, it's quite heavy and sturdy, which is bad for your backbone, but great for durability while giggin'

All in all: for the money one of the best choices.

Danny a part-time user from USA writes:
I've been playing on the Korg N1 for a few years for my church and at concerts. The feel of this keyboard is uncomparable to other keyboards i've tried so far. I've tried the Kurtzweil and the Rolands before but it does not compare. Our church liked the keyboard so much that we have 4 N1's. Especially for live performance, the N1 is one of the best keyboards out there so far.
