Just bought the last (demo model) N265 at my local Guitar Center for a measly $700 sans tax. I'm told that it has been discontinued, although I still see new N364s (sixty one key version of the 264) for sale on the web. This thing has got some serious balls. Screaming Hammond B-3 through the aftertouch activated "Leslie" doppler effect is great. Piano sounds are all you could ask for. This is my second Korg keyboard (older DW-8000 has given me great pleasure). Bang for the buck: 4.7 out of 5. I'll buy Korg again.

Marc Peterka a professional user from USA writes:
I use the N264 constantly to lead my choirs (adult thru children) and the singing congregation at my catholic church. Personally have created over 300 midi sequences for KORG and MIDI church organ, having terrific succes in all styles of music. Is there a program that will convert my sound patches to NS5R and Kurzweil K2000 and GM formats that I have not discovered in my programming files, or do I need some special/custom software to make these easier to convert? Started my own web page "Roman Catholic MIDI Users Association" home1.gte.net/unklmarc/index.htm.....am putting all my arrangements on CD from the KORG N264. Mostly OCP and GIA, some "old standards"...all very good arrangements for listening or backup for vocals.

Dallas Chang a hobbyist user from Singapore writes:
I tell you that the piano samples from this thing really hits the bulls eye! Except for the Kurzweil K2000,

this is the other synth that carries 4 different piano samples and recreates the subtle nuances very well!

Sounds Excellent, Looks excellent, excellently priced, what more do you expect?
