I just purchased the N5 last week. The drum sounds are different but I will stick to my M1 for these. It took me a week to go through all of the sounds and I am still thinking about how I will set this up for live performances so that I can easily access certain sounds quickly. I have looked at using the performance setup area placing each sound I need under different "pages" in the performance but then it seems to limit me to the one effect setting for the entire performance setup. The only way past this is to select the next page and then go up and back one program number to restore that program's original effect setting. Does anyone no another way around this? Sound wise this is in many ways a lot better than the M1 for strings, brass and I think piano has improved as well - for this price range anyway.
