Ok, this poly-61 IS my first synth. It brought me to the world of analog. I was dreaming to be able to do "weird sounds" like in Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine". I found it in a pile of keyboards at a local pawn shop, wondering the number of instruments for each keyboard, and i looked at this one : "No presets of anything, you play with the waves" tried it and fell in love. It's not an extraordinary synth, but it's great versatility(and compact size) make it really good. I do not recommend however playing it all by himself, plug it intao a Boss Metal Zone, flanger, super chorus and equalizer, and you'll be ready to fly !!!!!
