This was my first synth I ever bought when I was a teen - and I have never been disappointed. Very easy to program and save incredibly unique sounds. Excells in blaring, in your face leads and burping analogue bass. Sounds wonderful when I sync to my Yamaha CS2X arpegiator for 80's synth pop basslines! My only complaint is that the patches ocassionally decide to erase themselves for no apparent reason - but I have a tape backup of the factory preset sounds. This is a wonderful, fun and creative synthesizer that is much underrated.

Lazy Anonymous a hobbyist user from Sweden writes:
Pretty funny to use, extremely easy to program (digitally controlled analog additive synthesis, w. noise generator) but not very good sounding. I still use it though, both in studio settings and live.

May sound a bit flat and the keys are a bit flakey, but all in all a pretty nice piece of equipment, esp. for the price (I paid 1000 SEK, about US $110).

I bought it becaus it was cheep and quite good sounding. If you just take the tame and program all the patches the way you like them then you have some piice of analoge machine. Goood bass and organ sounds do not have to be set bbecaus they rock

é um ótimo teclado , comparado com teclados como alpha juno e o DW800 . Tenho os dois mas comparando a forma de programação são muito bem parecidos .

I had a Poly800 a couple of years back and loved it...I swapped it for a guitar because that`s always been my instrument but I always regreted the swap!..Anyway I bought another one last week...The reverse keys model complete with flight case, patches and manuals and boy am I pleased!...I haven`t got a clue what I`m doing with it but some of the sounds I can get are really exactly what I want for backing the guitar...Best 100 quid I`ve spent in a long time!
