For sure the Trinity looks far better made !! It's even got YAMAHA stamped on the keyboard inside...that's why it feels so good to play. (don't even thing about looking, believe me, it's there). I play with 4 fingers, 28 Poly is good.... Check out the Yamaha AN1X keyboard, zee springs are awesome. Sorry folks, but the Trinity sounds far more stable compared to the Triton. Do Korg really name their machines after bathroom fittings ?, prepare for the "American Standard Pro".

the trinity was my first big time synth. it was cool for a while, it taught me how to program. but i quickly grew out of it. the sounds on it are so mainstream its ridiculous. the moss card doesnt do anything for me because i dont like the prophecy. i have since bought a nord lead2 and learned what virtual analog can really do. the drums are nice sounding but i can spot a trinity drum sound a mile away. the sequencer sucks as far as programming goes, i do industrial/noize/breaks, and the very thought of programming a complex breakbeat in 32/64ths on the trinity is painful. this is good if you are trying to get somewhat realistic instrument sounds or trying to be very mainstream. do not buy this if you like harsh sounds and complex beats

I bought my Trinity last autum and I gotta admit that sounds are the best I've ever heard. Touch of the keyboard is better than Triton's and it looks a lot better too. Only bad thing is that you have to use disc to save your songs. In X3 you could save them to harddrive. Effects of this machine sounds nice and Touchview makes them easy to edit. The sounds I like most are Harpsicord, Analog Power and Lead-sounds.

This truly is a great synth! I´ve had mine for four years now and it still is the best workstation in the market!(upgraded to the V3 , of course). The Triton was supposed to top it, but IMHO Trinity sounds better in the high end, looks a thousand times better, and who really needs 64 voices of polyphony? (unless going multitimbral, but taking everything from just one synth isn´t very pro.) Trinity sounds are exceptional in clarity and expression. My Proteus 2000 sucks compared to this. The V3 moss board is great too. Buy a Trinity before it´s too late. This is a future legend!
