Anthony Bennett a hobbyist user from USA writes:
This board is probably the best by far of any board on the market for it's time. I'm just a play @ home musician and sometimes church but this board has everything. Ease of use, top of the line. I only use 3 or 4 different sounds, but honestly that's all you need. Ballared Layered is the absolute best and sweetest sound. Even the standard guitar is excellent. Organs are great. This board is a one man band. If you want to really bring out the best, get a Roland XP10 and use that as the bass end to use with the LE. I've even used it as a controller for a not so expensive Casio and it's makes the casio sound like a dream machine. I bought mine fOR about $300.00 of ebay about 18 months ago as an as is buy, it hasn't failed me yet. I'm looking to buy the module now as a backup. Can't go wrong with the TRITON LE

Matthew Bowman a hobbyist user from Wise, VA (USA) writes:
Excellent keyboard. Great sounds. The piano is very realistic featuring most nuances of an acoustic piano. I do think that they sampled the piano a bit to bright, but this can be adjusted with the cutoff. The organs remind me so much of a Hammond especially Drawbar Knob 1. The rotary simulation is the best I've seen on a keyboard. The E.Pianos are good, although names such as Dyno, Stage, and Tine don't help me pick out a sound, They could have named them like Rhodes, Wurlitzer, FM, but that probably cost more money to do that. The electric guitars are good, and there are some okay acoustics. The basses are nice, The synth sounds are cool. Roland has better drum kits, but I must say that the Korg ones are somewhat better than Yamaha. Easy to use interface. Needs a cursor. Touchscreen Is very, very cool. Awesome arpeggiator. Kinda heavy compared to Juno-D and S03. Weighs about the same as my P80

Great synth. I got it cheap for only 750 euro's with SCSI and 32 mb to, a week ago. In great shape, so thats a steal. The Guy i bought it from got himself a terrible expensive Roland Fantom X8. I put this toy in the same category as the Roland, so whats new. And this one has a stable operating system (important)

Little bit complex to program, but if you spend two days in exploring everything a wounderfull world of beautifull sounds exposes to you. Best synth/sampler I ever owned (and I had a lot of them; about 60 pieces). Software doesn't match (not so intuitive).

Synth section: 5 Sampler section: 4 (drawback: the lack of crossfading; making looping isn't easy) Effects: 5 Sequencer: 5 Sounds: 5 Operating system: 5

Max a part-time user from Belgica writes:
My first workstation ever!! I bought it over five years ago and loved it eversince. Programming its synth engine is not always as easy, but only when you expect it to do what let's say, an Ion is to do for example. The sequencer is good enough to keep you running for years and gives you (via the touch screen)an easly accessible plethora of functions. The sound generator is professional - and no I'm not a beginner! The sampler samples good, and has most of what you need in a sampler - but it lacks resampling, and it's sampling capacity is limited to 64 Mb's. I used to have enough with that, but as you begin to sample more and more 64Mb's can get you thinning out pieces of a song that you wouldn't have when you had more Mb's. But that's the only 'not so good' thing I have to say about the Triton. It is very well implemented and will sport most of your programming desires! Thumbs up!

Mark a professional user from Mansfield UK writes:
A fantastic piece of kit. Awesome sounds - something there for every genre i think. The Synth is marketed at dance music but i use it in an indie rock band and the sounds are awesome. If you like the keyboard effects used by "The Killers" you will love this synth! The only critisism (and it's one shared by many) is that the factory piano's are not that great but with a little surfing on the net and the addition of the EXB piano board this is soon remedied. I love this synth to bits and every time i switch it on i discover something new. This machine is deep, very deep and it will take anyone an age to discover everything it has to offer. I'm sure there are now better synths out there (as there always will be) but this machine will be around for a very long time to come and like the Korg M1 this is destined to be a classic. Love it!!
