I love the sound and build quality of the EX, the sounds you can produce with some time on your hands ( or just random pushing buttons ) is way out there. Two things pisses me off tho; 1) where`s the knobs that say cutoff and resonance at?:) 2) midi is weird. Anyways, I`ll give it 5\5 and sing Baby baby all night long. Thank you Korg!

AMBIENT HEAVEN!.....not difficult to program and seems to have a lot of support...paid $520 for a EX and loving it. Macros are long though...but worth it....MIDI is ok and the WS Soundeditor 2.3 with MIDI OX seems to work OK

It's a beautiful sounding digital synth. You can get beautiful pads and bells out of this baby. But it can also sound nasty if you want it to (not in an analogue way). The onboard FX are neat and it's a great controller keyboard. Programming is, well, a challenge but not something that's impossible :). Menus were well laid out and the whole interface is well thought out. Unfortunately, this just wasn't what i'd looked for at the time and I sold it recently.

If I had the money and i'd see it again, i would probably buy it again, just for all the atmosphere this baby has. Or maybe i'll check out the A/D version one day...

I still give it a 4 thumbs up for all the atmospherical sounds this baby produces.
