The wavestation SR's strengths are its sheer number of presets and its colorful palette of sounds.

The best of which are its atmospheric and its biting distortion driven leads.

programming without an editor is a nightmare, and even with an editor its slow.

Unfortunate as the box has some great sound shaping parameters. The wavesequencing alone makes it

unique and a worthy addition to any midi rack.

A really nice piece. Have to keep the patch with list with me at sessions, though; there's so much in there. The rhythm loops and certain wavsequences are starting to sound a bit dated now, but still a beautiful sounding synth. Found mine used, near mint, in a store in Colorado. Only paid $500., including tax. Aren't steals and deals great?!
