Not that this syth needs another review to say how wonderful it is, but I can't resist. So here it goes...This thing is bad ass. It has an engine that runs the gambit. Plenty-O-balls and great atmospherics as well. Examples: Autechre, Grooverider, Ed Rush. If you do get one I recommend the PCMCIA that Korg sells, and if you plan on using it as a multitimbral sound source get the 18 voice model.

this board is raw...watch your speakers!! unexpected things can happen when you fiddle a bit!!im not sure i could call this synth a VA thought!!its much more than that, more like an experimental/noise/texture maker machine. i had this board for about a year, and i still can't belive how much noise it can generate. i just can't get enought of its decimator effect. great effect for vintage videogame feel! its a keyboard straight out of hell!! thanx Korg

I've been working in Studios for a while and made my fortune writing cheesy songs for pop groups, the Z1, well what can I say, this machine is the biz! If you are going to buy this synth ask your self this question: Do I want a load of crap (128 poly of shite is a lot) or 12 poly of absolute joy - it's your choice. Don't worry about the effects the chances are you've got external processors anyways. Think long and hard - Loads of dross or small amounts worthy of the lord himself. P.S: I'm not religious!
