value of the synth is in editing the parameters 31-33, dropping

the pitch-bend (66) to zero and raising 67 (VCF) to 1. This allows

you to use the pitch wheel of your controller to control cutoff

frequencies (filter sweeps, etc). The settings of 31-33 are very

subjective. For such a cheap price it is actually quite useful.

I have three and use them all the time.

Some people have asked me how come I still have them, but I find the analog Korg

sound to be unique. Of course, I also have all the new digital stuff and also have other analog gear

but the Korg EX-8000 and DW-8000 are neat hybrids with a sound of their own.
