I think this is really too underrated synth. You can get some really nice 80's leads & pads and even basses from it. I use it and I like the raw sound. I like the joystick, you can get to play some instant analogue solos, like Air.

wow I think my dx100 is jealous i jsut got this ordered it from ebay for 130$ usd shipping included... fiddled around with it and it is grreat fun other than the comlpicated editing which is really not all that tough... and coming from jsut using the dx100 it is no problem... sort of similar concept except more tweak! great analog sounding bass... I have worked with a jupiter 6 and others before so I know what analog sounds like it has got a raw sound to it... kinda wishy washy but it has character... and I loev the simple step sequencer plus batteries for portability! (although it is kind of big to fool around with on the public bus... hahaha) great machine I give it 4 overall because of the great value!

I just got it this summer... it's nice... I haven't been able to make any good soft sounds with it.. maybe I'm not trying hard enough... but I do like the fat bassline sounds it can produce... the squencer in it could be better but at least it indicates what step your on unlike others, no names (MC-202)... What's really cool about this synth, is the Mods you can do to it... mine now has a Cutoff and Resonance knob... I could put a Fine tune and Course adjustment knob on it but is not really fun to tweak those.
