This keyboard sounds just awesome. I guarantee you´ll be playing this for hours. It has kick-ass sounds

already built in so you won´t be missing anything. Playing with all those knobs (5) and wheels (3+ribbon)

will make the sounds go crazy..! Just check the 303growler sound and you´ll wet your pants from the

feeling of a pure killer acid sound. But wait, don´t go rushing buy this synth. If you have a MIDI-setup

without a sampler, you´ll be running into polyphony problems after the first two seconds. That´s because

this baby is monophonic.... however the effects don´t cut eachother out, so it really does offer

a little polyphony... But I´m selling mine. I´ve got no sampler, at least not a good one so i´ll just

be looking forward to buying the JP8000 with polyphony of 8. Here´s some more things I didn´t like

about the Prophecy : (1) You won´t be playing fast solos with aftertouch, the keys have to be smashed in

before any aftertouch occurs. (2) The ribbon controller wheel has a spring a little too strong... Maybe

you can fix this yourself with a screwdriver..? (3) The sound editation is a nightmare, you´ll need

a patch-editing program for your computer to really alter the sounds the way you want to. There´s

a good one available in the NET but the author wants $100 for registering it... I say he can play

with his little program, I´m just not going to pay that much for it!

If you play live or don´t have a MIDI-setup, this little synth is for you. Everytime you play it you´ll get

kicks out of it, but I´m sick and tired of it´s limitations -> Buy something more useful.
