Jason a hobbyist user from USA writes:
Do not buy this unit if you are into industrial noize or machine music. If you are into anything else, then I can't imagine a better digital audio workstation than the Korg Trinity. Buy it definately. P.S. it is the coolest looking synth also!

the trinity was my first big time synth. it was cool for a while, it taught me how to program. but i quickly grew out of it. the sounds on it are so mainstream its ridiculous. the prophecy card doesnt do anything for me because i dont like the prophecy. i have since bought a nord lead2 and learned what virtual analog can really do. the drums are nice sounding but i can spot a trinity drum sound a mile away. the sequencer sucks as far as programming goes, i do industrial/noize/breaks, and the very thought of programming a complex breakbeat in 32/64ths on the trinity is painful. this is good if you are trying to get somewhat realistic instrument sounds or trying to be very mainstream. do not buy this if you like harsh sounds and complex beats

I've been using the trinity for 3 years and I have to say that i prefer it from a computer!!

I've been working with 3 bands at differnt music styles and i'm totally satisfied and excited. I use the sequencer when I perform live with one of the bands and it works out just fine!!!

anyways, the trinity has saved my life... i still haven't bought a pc just yet..

This is a great synth. A legend. I had to sold mine, and that was a mistake...miss you babe. Miss your strings.
