The Korg Trinity pro is a keyboard players dream. I bought mine in early January 1997 and hardly a day goes by I dont create something on it. The patches are nothing short of magnificient and the touch screen is so easy and fun to use. The only negative comment I have is in regards to live performance, in which many of the patches(especially brass) just don't cut through well and are often to trebley. But I suppose that with a little tweaking, this could be remedied. The screen froze up on me once, and twice a simple disk load ended in an error message that rendered the disk unreadable. Nonetheless, I still could not fathom the idea of life without my Trinity. I have just recently finished sequencing an entire tribute to the soft rock seventies which I am performing in a solo format. I sequenced Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty in about 3 hours! Thats how quick and easy sequencing on the Trinity is, and the quality of the patches is so good that you can barely tell the difference between the original and the sequence. Especially great are the acoustic guitars and string patches. Super effects processing. . .Aw heck, just go get one!!!! I would appreciate any and all e-mail from other Trinity owners please. Tell me what you do with yours!

Buy the Trinity with all the options (US$4000), and You just a full blown studio

with a very cheap price to produce a full polished professional soundings

pro-ductions! Do the math:

1. Effect processors that give 10 simultaneous effects (8 insert + 2 Master) +

2 band Eq. With the sounds and editing facility comparable with Trinity's

US$ 2000.00

2. Sample Playback synth with 24 megs (48 megs compressed with 2:1 Korg's

compression method) with the filters, and editing facility comparable with

Trinity's (48 Khz, sampling rate), up to 512 program and Combination.

US$ 2500.00

3. 4 tracks Hard Disk recorder (dtd) with fully automation and 2 band Eq, and

cut and paste, copy, move, etc. Comparable with Trinity's (48Khz) quality

and editing capabilities.

US$ 1500.00

4. A propechy solo synth with 25 X bigger user interface.

US$ 1600.00

5. 8 (16 with Korg's compression method) Megs Sample Player, stored in a non

volatile Flash ROM.

US$ 1000.00

6. Master Controller with Ribbon controller and Korg's nice joystick + switches,

3 foot controller (1 sustain, 2 assinable foot pedal) + 1 programable slider,

built like a tank, nice silver look with a versatile synth action key, that

response to velocity and after touch.

US$ 1500.00

7. 16 tracks Hardware sequencer with touch view and editing facilites comparable

with Trinity's Sequencer.

US$ 500.00

8. All have an ADAT interface, SCSI and Digital I/o and work syncronise with one

power switch on, all in the digital domain. Versatility,...egrrggghhh

Additional US$ 1000.00

TOTAL: US$ 12.500.00, could be more considering powering, stabilizer, room

renovation and so on and so on, hehehe... We just save Ourself US$ 8500.00 to buy, Roland JP 8000, 2nd hand Korg Wavestation

EW, and Genelec Active Speakers! Good Luck.

I recommend that if You're looking for a machine that can produce very killer

sounds, buy it! You won't regret, in my opinion off course.
