Ive used my X2 as the lead keyboard in a 4 keyboard setup fot the past 6 years. The core sounds are all excellent (better than my newer Korg N1) and are fairly easy to tweak to your liking. I've configured a sound bank just for live gigs (which is most of my work) and this is where the X2 really sings. The punchy brass is great for stabs and brass breaks. The "Brite Brass" patch (A92) is a knockout. X2 guitars are excellent as are the Electric Pianos. If you dont own a computer based sequencer then the on board hardware sequencer is very capable. Many have critisised its ease of use and I must agree the small LCD display is a bit of a keyhole when trying to view the systems functions. You get a good build quality with Korg for pro working and this Metal Chassis based model is no exception. The keys do snap easily though and if you gig then a flightcase is essential. Over 700 gigs I have only had 1 repair (Intermittent on output socket) I am buying a Triton Pro this week but no way will I be parting with the X2. Its the best gigging workhorse I've ever used.

The (X2 workstation is Amazing) the X2 piano sound is way much better than the one on the N264. I sold my N264 and I bought the X2 from my friend and is pretty good. By the way, if anyone has the PCM sound cards, and other accesories or knows someone please contact me, I'm willing to buy them. I need them.
