I love this thing. ease of use is the bomb. two things that really, really irritate me. When you loop a track, it loops all 16 tracks. (this really pisses me off) also, the effects can be a little fine tuned. 7 out of 10 p.s. got a cool bass sound on it, sounds like portishead.

Damned machine is still my fav even though I own 8 other synths, including the bloody damning Trinity! Still cannot figure why I love the X2 best. Must try the EFX patches and experiment with it, gave me a Chemical Brothers' "Block Rockin' Beats" style of drum loops programming and something a little more. Run the Output thru a Distortion unit and see the maddness in the machine. And try using up to 6 tracks on the sequencer and mixing different drum sets sounds, and you will understand the meaning of :"The only limits are the limits of your imagination". MIDI settings are so damned, I use the X2 as my master controller with my modules as well! Share more info with me if you have any extras. Five marks is not enough! Give this synth a 10! The Trinity on the other hand has got it's own uniqueness, but then again... X2 is still the centre of my collection! Love the feel of the keys best. The nearest is the Fatar 610 PLUS. (Tip: buy this MIDI controller if your X2 keys has crapped on you". Saved my ass once. Ha ha ha..... ENJOY!
