I purchase a PC88 several years back and love its natural piano action and a few of its sounds. I am sure that like many others that I have never found my way around all its possibilities and maybe I have little need for them anyway. This instrument is great for my home studio but a back breaker if I have a gig to go to. The short story is that I both love and hate it and am always in doubt as to its possibilities, its worth or in fact if I should hang on to it or get another keyboard. The main trouble is that I have yet to find one that suits my pocket and still gives me the piano action that I enjoy with this one. I would also like some of the toys that are included on the Roland EXR7 Keyboard for example.

Any responses to the above would be most welcome and appreciated.

He there everybody. I just lately bought the Kurzweil PC88 and to me it's the greatest masterkeyboard I ever had. The pianosounds are very warm and yes there are no pads or other synthersizers sounds inside, but I also have a Roland soundmodule that will make my synthplay completed. I just wanna say: Now trow your hands in the sky and wave them from side to side and if you ready to play the on synthersize than let me hear you say Kurzweil!!!!!!!

I love this keyboard. I play strictly piano, and for the price I am quite satisfied with my purchase. I don't need a keyboard with 1000+ sounds, just one with a couple of decent piano tones, and this keyboard does it at a great price.

I bought a PC88 last week and that was the biggest mistake in my life. Man, I just cried out of frustration. This thing is the worst piece of junk on this planet. And the weight!! How on earth is it possibble that something that is so bad can be so heavy?
