If you want specs, click the link at the top. I must say that Kurzweil did an outstanding job on this synth. While the previous VAST synths were excellent, this one shames them without compromise. The cool thing is unlike other companies, on the 76 key version, the one I have, still has full piano keys instead of the typical synth keys. The sounds are unmatched by any synth. This synth is a monster. All the sounds you could ever hope for are here. Plus you can add in even more via floppy, SCSI, or sampling. Between this and its filing system, you have access to literally millions of sounds. This is truly a production station, I could make an entire album with this one synth. The ease of use was amazing. In one day I was editing sounds and writing tunes on the sequencer, very easy to use interface. I could go on and on. I've played with synths for over ten years, and this is by far the most innovative, expressive, and powerful synth I've had the privelage of owning.

I can understand how you feel. The 2600 takes a lot of work. the Kurz os is a challenge With work, you can coax a lot out of this keyboard, but it is a very pro orientated and business-like synth workstation. the Waldorf Q, with the new RS 7000 (Yamaha) would be more immediatly rewarding. Good Luck. SQUID POP
