Johan Olofsson a professional user from Sweeden writes:
I think its gr8 ! The synthesiezer are keeping me busy for hours and hours ! Its fantastic that it sounds so gr8 even after all these years that have past since it came. Im wondering about the internal battery that appears to die after a few yers or so Im also looking for any information about PCM - cartridges and if there is a simple way to transport sound pathces from a computer to the M1. Im planning to use my M1 with my computer as a sequencer and create some real gr8 music with it !

Larry Towers a part time user from USA writes:
I bought this for $1800 and sold it a year later for about $1500. Why,

cause the M-1 had an imposing personality. No matter what you did the basic character of the sound remained. Sort of like a person is still recogniozable in a distorted reflection. This keyboard turned me off most wavetable based synthesizers. Why is the value of synthesisizers based mostly upon how well they replicate other instruments? What happened to the synthesis in synthesizer. Its as if we've all traded in our homecookin for fast food. Synthesis with most wavetable based instruments is like mixing Hamburger Helper with Chef Boyardee Macaroni. I still have my lowly Ys200, cz1 vz10m I'm looking for a K-5

Benjamin Tucker a part time user from USA writes:
As far as looks go, I consider the Korg M1 the most beautiful keyboard in the world. It sounded OK too. I miss mine. It was stolen. . .out of a church, too. If you feel sorry for me, please send me your M1. Hey, I'll pay the shipping!
