I've owned a few synths and the M1 is the best so far - i do dance / industrial music - finding the Synth 2 PCM card (and a boss dr-660) helped that alot - was given a Mac SE which acts as my M1's disk drive via MIDI - this machine is not trendy right now, but with its built in effects and gobs of synth waveforms, IT IS UNDER-RATED - skip past the cliche piano, string, and choir samples and you have a capable machine only wish - want to trade up my CZ-101 to a 3000 or 5000 and hoping to find an EX card someday and i'll hgave the ultimate studio (for a hobbyist)

It's the best synthesizer I'd ever seen, its value is better than anything else.

The M1 would be perfec if it had a floopy drive and more sound like the O1/W or

the Trinity.

Good-sounding gear! Perfect pianos and good pipe organs and hammonds...

I am using it in tandem with the Kawai K1 and K4r. The only thing which sucks my dig is the sequencer> I have a 256Kb card, and there can be only 7700 midi events... that's really bad. Please: I am without the manual, if somebody know the location of it's electronical version (or something like this) let email it to me!!! If You want to discuss about the M1, feel free to email me!

In general I`m satisfied with KORG M1.I have extentioned version. There are few

things I don`t like.Sequencer`s memory is not large inough(especialy when I use

KORG M1`s drum kits). If there are 8 different tracks in a song,I run quite fast

out of memory.Sometimes I use a same track for few instruments(edit list helps a

lot),but real problem comes with effects.
