the mb33II is truely a really great 303-emulation (the best?), and because of its complete midi-implementation, the addition of that FAAAT distortion AND THAT SUBOSZILLATOR, which you can freely mix to the main-oszillator, makes this li'l babe a DEFINATELY MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE (well - I'm talking about handling n interface, NOT about the sounds..) synth than the "ancient" 303.

the sound is phat, warm, could be HAMMERhard at high resonance combined with a lot of distortion...hehe...that sounds aggressive - but it does NOT sound like a real tb303.

but when using it without suboszillator and distortion it reaches NEARLY the original.

BUT don't panic: u guys wanna create acid? this machine does. better than the 303. 'cause its HARDER!

the mb33II is the first adress to ring the doorbell - if you are looking for a REAL analog synth, but do not want to spend their li'l money in some grandfather's diggest ;-).

buy one - it's worth all it's (li'l) bucks.

For 100EUR the best bass synth ever! For example it's very usefull in darkstep/techstep dnb production. Those deep and fat sounds are so wicked! >:-D

I just bought this Biatch and let me tell you..... It's the best sounding clone of the 303. Better than my syntechno tee bee. And how about the price? I paid only € 225. The last one in the store. In fact... It's better than a 303. Full midi implementation combined with a completely analog circuitry that sounds so nice and fat. Tweak the filters and scream together with the MB33 2.

I think MAM is underrated. For under $300 bucks US, this is a fun synth. It does the 303 thing quite well as the autoslide is wicked, but can be used to get nice round bass tones.

It is so simple, it is wonderful. All of the knobs are right there, just start dialing them down.

It would be interesting to hear a next generation MAM synth with possibly the Wasp filter or some other sound options included.

I'd like to try out one of those ADX drum boxes.
