I have owned my Opus 3 since...November 1996(almost 5 years). Everything works just well on it except for when I turn it on after a long interval I have to hit it a couple times cause the sustain gets stuck from time to time (haha). Other than that I can use all the effects and sounds (Organ ,Strings, Brass) and pan them, and since I plug right into my Boss br-8 recorder...I can add some cool effects and shit. It's definately an awesome piece of equipment to own.

Ive owned my opus 3 for 1 1/2 yer now. My strings/chorus dont work either, ive read abpout many with the same problem. So i guess it's pretty common. Anyway, i love this analog honey. And if anyone has schemantics for it please contact me, and by the way. How can i get ahold of a good sustainpedal for it? The inpout has a very strange dimension right?

I've had my opus III for about 2 1/2 years now. It is a delicious piece of machinery. Oscillators to die for and when used with a good Keyboard amp produces bass end you can feel through your feet to the top of your cranium. I mainly use the organ sound with the rate oscilator to produce a kind of Leslie effect, SWEET!, The strings don't work!! This makes it a bit limiting, however, Wire yourself in to the opus III and you'll get lost for hours. All my pals have tried it, and the best thing about it is how everyone gets something different out of it. Pure Class!

Well Gang I got it completly reconditioned. And its like a new synth. I had Tim Conniff repair it and this man can do miracles. The panning has been repaired and all sliders are clean and smooth. No more grunge. Tim is a miracle worker! He has also repaired my OBX, Arp Solus, Prodigy and now is at work on my AXIS. My wife and I really love this synth. Im plannig now to pick up a ARP Omni 2. Peace.
