This synth is a fun little Moog that while limited in scope offers some classic sounds. I use mine as an additive synth live. Hell crwod recognition is the main reason i have ever taken it to shows.

Maggotbrain a hobbyist user from Cologne, Earth (?) writes:
great sound, very simple to use, clear design, funky fat moog filter... my prodigy has vcf cv-in, vco cv-in, cv-in/out, switch-trigger in/out, i use a kenton pro solo to control via midi and my A-100 to modulate the cv-inputs. tune, tune, tune, tweak... you got to have at least one moog... szia Maggotbrain

Tegid Jones a part-time user from England writes:
As some of the negative reviews point out, Moog is a brand name so well known and loved that its popularity sometimes exceeds the actual value of the product. This is true of the Prodigy and Rogue. Afterall these models were designed as budget synths, they simply weren't built to compete with the versatality of the MiniMoog. All this sounds rather negative, but the Prodigy is a great little synth. Very easy to use, some great sounds and yes that bass is there (albeit more subdued than a Mini.) However if you are willing to fork out 300+ for this model, and your hoping for analogue heaven. Well save up a bit more cash and invest in a Odyssey or MS20, you'll never run out of new sounds with those beasts. The Prodigy is limited, unless you have a rack of external effects to process it through. Then again like a Combo Organ those limited sounds are all wonderful.
