Colin Russell a hobbyist user from Canada writes:
I bough mine a couple months ago off my college instructor for 20 BUCKS!!! Love that fat juicy analog sound. One goofy but cool trick i devised was to run it though a Boss SX-700 FX processor and tape, yes tape, a key down and go to town double knob twisting! you can really get into it and come up with wierd ambient textures to help back up your track.

Michael a part-timer user from Australia writes:
The PRODIGY is a fantsastic synth. I use it mainly for bass, brass and weird noises. It has an amazingly warm and full sound that only Moogs can have. Though it is a little limited. You find that out after playing it for a couple of months. But that doesn't matter becasue the existing sounds it makes are great!

The sync switch makes some great leads and one can acheive brilliant percussive noises with a little tweaking. It really is a marvelous synth if you explore all possibilities.

Great little synth for beginners and old hands alike!

Bjrn Larsen a part-timer user from Norway writes:
Bought mine from a pro-musician from Bulgaria!!! Very moogish sound, but a quit simple synthesizer though it has two oscillators. I miss a more advanced modulator(lfo) section and PWM. Anyway, great for leads and basses. Not a synth for special effects. I think its sounds are very close to the "mini".

Kenneth B. Done a professional user from Amsterdam, The Netherlands writes:
The Prodigy is my favourite 'spiritual' lead synth.

Put it next to a huge cathedral organ with a square-wave

flute-like sound (Jan Hammer) and you are in the church

of the holy Moog! Do some mediation while it's warming up.

btw everyone believes you if you tell them it's a REAL mini.

Gary Miraz a professional user from Hollywood,California writes:
Picked up two of these from a pawn shop in monrovia 10 years ago for 60 bucks. they are great for biting leads with distortion that I use with the pitch bend wheel. the sound can be thin and fat but it's not as versitile as my mini or arp but get one if you can and at the right current price which is about $400 now, but beware, I have seen people trying to pass them as mini's or the equivilant at outrageous prices.
