The sound is great. The display is not, neither the knob and button interface. No off switch. Go for the K-station! This is'nt a 5!!! 5 for price and sound. 1 for everything else. That make 2.5 rounded up to 3.

Don't give this thing 5! It does NOT deserve it. You might fool beginners into it!

i am surprised there are not more reviews on this little baby, considering it had widespread exposure in some major music mags...Umm quite simply this thing is awesome value for money...the sounds are very expresive, the hands on functionality is terrific, and the effects are of decent quality...it is a very very nice piece of equipment.

This is the coolest little synthette I've heard in a long time. Only problems are the two-character display, which can be cryptic at times. That and the fact it's not multi-timbral. Otherwise a very good bang-for-the-buck (or pound, or yen, DM, Euro).

In fact, the sound quality makes up for the wimpy display so I'll give it 5/5.

Wait! FM-7 (Native Instruments) is multitimbral and costs 300 dollars less? OK so I give it a 4.
