hey hey everyone,i've got a $250-ks4,its basically a k-station w/ 8 more polyphony and 4-part multitimbre.its the best value purchase w/i this yr.2.5 for its sound and 2.5 for the price, cuz i like real analog more but it acts as my midi controller and add-in dsp synth, not bad at all.

The k-station is an awesome synthesizer / production tool welcome in my studio setup. I use the k-station to craft and produce sounds which make a difference. The k-station is not exactly preset, and what I like about it most is the ability to program and produce your own sounds and write over the presets!. The sound is absolutly breath taking, this little box is being used in production for many dance music based studio's looking to exploit the richness and creation of their own sounds, with your creation using the k-station, it is highly impossible to sound like everyone else. The k-station can be controlled as a sound module however. I find 25 keys lacking room for a full play on exploit, however there is an octave button to emulate an entire keyboard and if you know how to play in any key, you won't need transpose. The k-station is very easy to control via a master synth. Infact, I use the Roland JX-305 to control the program I produce. Programming the K-station is easy depending on the sound you want to produce. Sometimes I find myself working on 1 sound 2 hours later!. Ok, ive gone on abit now. The k-station is especially suited for dance and trance music, however being a lead performence synthesizer, you can use it for any other application. The effects are great and the analog useage rules. I find this synth has many things in common with the nova and supernova. for the size and price does it match a nord and Q? absolutly!.

The K-station is possibly the best synth ever made. Its not digital and we all know that analog rules don't we?, i mean come on for the price. This synth owns. No doubt about it.

A great synth that's easy to learn (no need of any manual here) and does some incredible sounds. I just love it!

Well this is quite an amazing synth. Firstly it can do all Oberheim's and is very good at Roland Juno 6,60,106's . Also I found two Polymoog sounds / presets.. strings and clavi from the polymoog. Also it has a great feel when playing. Great onboard effects. Saw Gary Numan using one in his studio!. I have no problems with the build quality its great..full marks for this one!. Ive used in on my album 'Telekinetic Nightmares' if you want to hear it in action listen to one of my tracks.
