Great machine for a reasonable price! Really fast access to tweak the synth, not just as mighty as an Anonex because lacking some complexe modulation structure ... Anyway the sound is fine (ranging from warm analog to fmish-digital) with powerful effects and the machine is very handy. Blasts away a R. SH-32 ten times in nearly every aspect of sound and handling.

of all the analog modeling synths currently available, this synth gives some amazing competition considering how affordable it is.it has one of the most organized layouts i've seen yet, making it the easiest to use in my view. if you want warm, thick, and phatt sounds this is the device to do it! now yes it does have some tiny bugs but every brand new synth has something that isn't resolved immediately. otherwise i think some people expect too much for $700. although i happen love its tiny size i do agree its not designed to fit on a stand particularly well. however, if you make yourself a nice custom board, you can put the kstation on the 2nd tier and also have room for maybe a small mixer and some other module. hmmmm....the nord modular keyboard would fit nicely in that arrangment

Update: I returned the K-Station the other day. I did the OS update and still had the same clicking issues. I bought a Nord Lead 2 instead. I really liked the sounds of the K. I was concerned about the clicking noises, along with the fact that it was only 2 octaves. I still give it a 5 though, because the sounds and feel of the unit are incredible. This would have been a nice piece if I kept it home with my PC gear. Taking it on the road to gig would have presented a problem. It wouldn't fit on my two tier keyboard stand. Good Luck to the K users. It's a nice synth.

OK I JUST GOT MY K-STATION FEW DAYS AGO. IT LOOKS VERY NICE AND THE SOUNDS ARE PRETTY GOOD. I SAY FOR THE PRICE IT SHOULD HAVE A LOT MORE. THESE ANALOG SYNTHS ARE STILL TOO EXPENSIVE. I LIKE THE VOCODER WHICH SOUNDS NICE. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE FEW KEYBOARDS THEN GET THIS ONE. THIS IS PRETTY COOL BUT YOU GONNA NEED MORE KEYBOARDS THEN JUST THE K-STATION. THIS IS JUST A NICE ADDITION TO YOUR HOME STUDIO. I REALLY LOVE THE SMALL KEYBOARD ON K-STATION, ITS GOOD IF YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL AND PLAY ON THE ROAD WHEN YOU ARE LONLEY. CHEERS. ENJOY.

I just purchased a K-Station the other day. I can't stop playing it. I will be using it live, with my Korg X5D and Korg N364 synths. I'm looking forward to creating some dance songs in the future with this monster. The controls are sweet! I was looking at the Korg MS-2000, which is nice, but the K's knobs and controls sold me. This is definitely a keeper.
