Pick up a Supernova in 2007 and as any synth great at first and not so great after a while.I factory reset it and got os4 and with a bit of playing around have made some fat leads on it. The bad reviews must be from people who don't read the manuel or play enough. Used by at one stage or another by Orbital, ATB and others check www.vengeance-sound.com so see what this beast can do

The Supernova is a monster! I cen create a big load of different sounds. I love the effects. And it is extremely userfriendly.

The Supernova is a very bland / plain sounding unit. It does have warm type sounds, but I found that it just doesn't cut through the mix at all. The built in effects are also the worst I have ever heard. The reverb sounds like a tin can, no lie. I have owned a lot of synths in my day, and I for one never missed this one for a minute after selling it. Good riddance.

this synth is without a doubt one of the best modules out there at the moment, even after 5 years since it's release. it is ideal for trance/house/techno, but personally I think it can also be used for other music types such as hip-hop etc. okay the delay on it isn't the best ever and is hard to get in time with midi, but this is a minor flaw. i use it on almost all my tracks and have no plans to let go of it! class!

This synth is the the #1 workhorse for any trance studio. If u make trance and want one synth that can generate all the sounds for a hit song, then this is unquestionably the one. Excuse my run on sentence.
