Top Synth!!!

Just recently bought it (keyboard 24 voices), and I am totally blown away by it. Its one of the best synth on the market. Not only does it look good, but it feels & sounds amazing. If your looking for a synth, get this, and if you've already got a master keyboard, buy the rack, you won't be dispointed

The presets really suck ass (well most of them) so you'll want to mold your own, and once you do I think that you will not be disappointed. Yes its true, if you turn off the effects it doesn't sound as good-but did you pay all that money to run such a fine machine without effects? ;] Bottom line is the effects sound really great and on headphones this is one *very* clean sounding machine. Only had it a few days thus far but with some tinkering, made easy by the TONS of knobs buttons and sliders, its very easy to program and a big relief from the little lcd screen digitals-though some parameters do have to be set thru the little screen. Able to slightly mimic some other synthesizers such as the wavestation, d-50, oberheims, and I even got a sound thats an awful lot like a pro one bassline, but you are kind of stuck with that unique sound that is the novation supernova-absolutely beautiful strings and pads and LOW bass (after all they made the basstation;). Not as detailed sounding as some complex machines like the yamaha fs1r or kawai k5000s but it has the upper hand above these machines because it is so easy to program. And yes it woops the virus's ass ;] Got me the 48 voice for $1500 and will never regret it. Just be careful as the build quality is a bit flimsy for such an expensive machine..
