I love the tones on this little board and the fact that it will run on batteries makes it really cool. Easy to grab and play or use as a quick midi controller in your set-up. Its one of my most used pieces of gear....Im always reaching for this puppy. Did I mention the sound is totally unbelievably rich for such a small device?

Very cool little synth. Most of the coolness is in the vibe. It's a tiny little tinker toy looking thing with batteries and all, but it sounds huge. Also, everyone keeps saying it does a weak 303 emulation, NO SHIT!It's not supposed to be a 303.It was based off the Minimoog, but it's not an emulator of anything. If you want and emulation call MAM or Syntechno.

Wow, this little KB suprises me everytime with it's big sound. I've had a moog minimoog and prodigy, and while not as rich as the minimoog, the basstations reliability and sound memory(only 7, but hey you can store your batch on your computer) and did I mention it's great sound, make it a pleasant analog mono-synth to program and make your own sounds with. I really think it's great, espeacially if your looking for some analog bass, efx, leads, drones etc...who doesn't need some of these sounds?!?

what is the matter with everyone on here how can you judge a piece of musical gear by its buttons, casing etc its the sounds that matter and this thing has them by the bucket load. From throbbing bass to soaring lead the bass station has them all, ok its a bugger at times to program and the manual is a bit skinny but exploration of a piece of kit is the fun part if you want to make fresh origanal sounds then buy it god at that price who can lose

its a okay monosynth, sound like sh101 but more plastic feel, not enough depth, even the same noisy as my drumstation,i'd prefer waldorf pulse, more edge and punch. but it worths it if u get one around $150-$200.
