For the rare owners of this machine you know how good and quality it is. If you ever need money , under no circumstances should you sell this and judging by the few that are available now I see everyone recognizes this.
However, if you do sell , do not go lower than One thousand dollars ($1000.00) .(Personally I would say 1300-1500 only because I know. )
Viscount invested a huge amount of money in each unit and did not make very much on each piece especially when only THE TOP grade materials were used , in every aspect. This was meticulously engineered by the finest Italian audio and design engineers. I should know.. I am one of them. No corners were cut in the OB12. You do not understand how different the sound is from the rest of the VA's out there. We purposely did this as the Italians are not know to copy , but rather innovate with style and design .The Ob12 can repicate old analogs extremely well. It excels at old Arp products such as the ProDGX and Axxe...as well as a Prophet 600 by Sequential . Not only does it excel in vintage synths , but it also had old organs and electric pianos in mind. This is a very weird machine in the sound .... you will definitely keep it as one of your MAIN synths. The OB12 was also designed to be very modern and stylish just as you would find in a fine Italian automobile. This is fact. Open it up...you will see how much we worked on it. But most of all...the sound is what counts and this is what you will love it for . I have had many comments from owners that use it for ALL styles... to progressive rock , to vintage electro, to hard core techno, to 70s soft rock, to gospel and church sermons, to serene ambient dreams......
The Ob-12 is and, will also be the "classic" VA to own .
..for the lucky few that own this... I toast a Moretti to you.....you are the innovators.
Ciao!
