i use 3 of these machines together with a P2002 and Emulator II. The DPX1 is really "stupid" but for playing the EII-Disks it's very usefull. Some people say the DPX1 sounds better than the EII - i can't agree really with this statements, the DPX output makes less noise. The machine sounds imo not better, but not bad. You can forget playing P2002 disks, its very lofi. The price of a DPX1 is only 10% of an EII, so its a very cheap way to "expand" an EII
