The kit consists of a single EPROM and a manual addendum. You should be able to order the kit for your nearest Peavey dealer/service. I'm looking at linking my Peavey PC1600 to my new Digital Performer Software. Any ideas on how to do that. I can get certain things to work however, I cant get the buttons to map in as a record, play, rewind, or fast forward button for DP. If you have any ideas let me know, and if you know how to upgrade the software for the 1600 to the 1600x, that would be great also. Thanks!

If you like controlling thing you should either get the PC1600 or the Doepfer Regelwerk....... I have had the PC1600 for many years now and it's getting tired a bit; some buttons hardly work, and the first 3 faders are out of business. But soon I'll get another one (or a Doepfer Regelwerk)! Because I can't live without this baby.....

The best controller surface!

Peavey made a box that kicks a Phatman in the teeth and makes it cry. I got this thing for my Alpha Juno 2, and it's like a whole new synth. I can edit ANY parameter live now, and have more patches for it without the fear of over-writing any nice preset patches (Which I think the Alpha juno's had a great presets [belive it or not ^_^]).

I had one of the slider caps fly off on me, but it was no biggie. It plopped right back on and hasn't fallen off again.

A great buy..... Never leave home without it.
