Nice to see that there are other people who have found the philicorda and enjoys it as much as i do. I got mine for free from a school and I use it a lot. I´m going to play a gig whith it soon and i wonder how to plug it. What do you recomend; to plug it to an guitar amp or to PA. The jackets look really weird, so I wonder what kinds of pluggs I should use. Please give me an aswer quickly!!!!!

I've just got my fourth Philicorda (for free!) - in mint condition! The three others are in no condition at all... Usually I play a Hammond, but it's better for the back to carry a Philicorda. I plug it into my Leslie, and there you are - a Hammond Light!!!

I bought one recently. It's the first model with the seperate amp box attatched to the stand. It's a little quiet for some reason, but sounds nice mic'd up, kind of thin but still warm.

The keyboard contact buss bars needed a bit of work. They are a kind of conductive rubber rather than metal bars, so you can't can't clean them with anything abrasive. Tape head cleaner and a contton bud seemed to do the trick.

Bought mine for about 30$ here in sweden. It doesn't work so good: - Left channel is dead - Reverb is dead - Too much Vibrato sounds wierd on the E notes - E and F are sounds false. BUT, it's still fucking awesome! I love it. I'll try fix it some day.

I have had the philicorda now for about 4 years and I love it!!! I purchased it at a Mennonite thrift store for $30.00 Can. I'm not sure of the model but it has working spring reverb, tremolo, and the fantastic one finger bass. The low end sounds awesome!! I have nver seen another organ like this anywhere in North America and was pleased to see these happy user reviews. I would say that this sounds as good if not better than a lot of the other organs of it's era. I do not have any of the foot controllers but would love to find them.(Please drop me a line if you have any to sell!) Also, I don't know what all of the jacks on the bottom are for. Cool organ!!!!!!!
