rebirth beats are all samples dufus. I`d rather get my own samples than use the same old ones every other bugger is using. Wow! 909 beats, never heard them in a track before, thats so original.

Hi all rebirth lovers and haters! listen to me, I'm a pro electronic music maker from israel. I make ambient, Chill-out, Drum&Bass, Acid and other musical styles. I have the money to buy real gear, but I think that for my needs and for techno, trance and acid, this program is more than enough. If you make club-trance, buy a real gear 'couse you will need strings and stuff, but if your into alternative electronic music Rebirth is the proggie for you. The sound is amazing, and the filters and effects are more than great. If you know how to play music and you are creative you will do superb things with Rebirth. Don't argue with me because I tried real gear and other soft-sytnhs and programs, and I still think Rebirth is the best for me. And by the way the song seq. is very very pro, and if you know how to use it, you will create fantastic tracks with Rebirth. Use seq. and don't use samples, because using samples isn't a creative way to make music, if you use samples the music isn't very yours, it's the person's who made the samples. I tried all ways to make music and synths is the best method. Rebirth Rulez! (If you make chill out or ambient please contact me!!!) Fatal Virus 2000

Stop complaining folks! Rebirth is good for beginners and if you dont have the $$$ to buy the real hardstuff, rebirth is a good choice. it emulates pretty good though its "only" a software synthesizer, and if you are using Steinberg Cubase, you can link Rebirth and Cubase with ReWire. Not bad att all.

Thank you Propellerheads!

i think that rebirth is fantastic for beginners, or if you feel the need to make monophonic lines. yes the old roland 'bus route series' has been heavily overused but that doesn´m mean it´s sound is unusable!

personally i have not been using rebirth for the last 2-years or so, but that was where it all started for me. the 808 will never be out of style and a 303 in the right hands are still a killer synth.

this program is not for me and neither are it´s sounds, but it does a pretty fair job imitating these classic sounds. far better than most clones!

respect to the propellerheads team and clavia - you rock!
