How can anyone compare rebirth to tr808, man use your ears, we are talking analog vs digital, i have compared the tr808 side by side with rebirth, and its a joke, come on, get a subwofer and feel the differance, you should never compare them, but if you cant get the real stuff, rebirth is a good tool to get the picture of what a analog tr808 sounds like, its like comparing a acoustic piano with a casio elektricpiano, it doesnt groov.

Bought rebirth after trying the demo and i must admit i like it a lot i like Hardfloor who use a 303 in nearly if not all there tracks I personally would love a TB-303 but i aint gonna pay £500-£1000 getting one let alone £400 for a 808 or a 909 so here you get Ebays most expensive machines for a nice cheapish price i love it to bits but i don't use it for everything i use my MC-505 for other dance music rebirth is perfect for Acid it sounds good its got lots of virtual knobs and is a close to the real TB without buying one. Overall Don't buying a real 303 get rebirth save yourself some cash unless your loaded but if your loaded just think of all them wires what with hooking up 2 303s an 808 an 909 see rebirth is compact and wont trip you up kids cant mess with it coz it looks like any other cd and knobs wont drop off....... ok ive said enuff just buy the damn thing

Tried demo version of RB and liked it pretty much. I must agree with many others who commented on the prog. Accent and Square-sound really sucks.

I'd say: try CreakBox. Download it from http://geocities.com/bassassessor
