Awesome - a great weapon in my sonic arsenal for house music.

My only gripe with my SIrius is the internal battery needs replacing - once thats done, it will be unstoppable. If you see one cheap, snap it up - this thing will be a classic in years to come.

Very very very easy to use and get your groove going...

James (Modulator) a hobbyist user from UK writes:
This machine is a touch of class ! It has all the greatness of the 309 .... Great drum machine, superb, easy to use sequencer... the addition of the 5 part synth, and vocoder make this a very tasty bit of equipment indeed !!

The preset synth sounds are not very inspiring, but with a bit of tweeking, and experimentation it is capable of creating some fantastic sounds. The fiters are very good, and LFO options are good too !!

The vocoder enables even more sonic possiblilities and it SO easy to create great bass lines and messed meodies using the sequencer in step time !! Just by putting down a basic riff and using the keyboard to layer your phrases makes it very very easy !!

LIKE THE 309 THIS MACHINE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABSOLOUTLEY PERFECT IF IT HAD INDIVIDUAL OUTS (even if it were for only a few of the parts)

Even so I will still give it 5, because it falls closer to that mark than the 4 !!!!!!!!!!!

Ok let me just say right from the start that who ever designed the sirius is an out and out genius. This machine is nothing short of awesome it is worth the money just for the drum kist alone and coupled with what you can do to the drum sounds with the synth controls gives you something to drool over. This machine can be used for any genre of electronic based music and is childs play to use.An annoying feature is that you have to save the sounds and the pattern seperatley and it only has stereo out???Mr Genius must have had a bad day that day when he decided to give it stereo outs instead if individula outs but I can live with it just sample the bits down. This machine is pure inspiration and will have you laying down the dirtiest gritty beats in no time. This has to be a secret weapon in pros studios. Sequencer allows real time and step recording and one of the coolest features is the randomize function that will create new sounds for you at random for sounds that you would not have programmed yourself, for this randomise function alone if if i was girl i would have the children of the guy that made this machine.

nothing short of awesome and it baffles me how a company like quasimidi can go under when they make such great machines.Polymorph on the way.

The Sirius really rocks!!! Scott Solmonson says that there´s no distortion-fx... Well, try using the vocoder presets #15 or #16 (without an "analyse"-signal). Really dirty !!!It´s not that kind of weak distortion-sounds you know from other effects-units... I´m looking for a device-map for cubase sx-3 or an older mixer map...
