Four years of good service and counting. Yeah if I had money I would buy a better keyboard, but for hobbyist purposes this keyboard has been great -- reliable, robust.

I bought this controller just to be able to pick out chords for my tracking in MadTracker... After a while i realized that madtracker MIDI support sucked, so i just put my keyboard aside...

Now ive become interested in ┬┤hardware, i bought the 2 electribes, a roland D-110 and an MAM MB33... and im blessed to have this keyboard! For my hobby usage it is excellent, and works perfectly. So until I buy a synthesizer with keys, this is a fully acceptable keyboard, any beginner pondering different devices should get this.

Okay the name Quickshot on a keyboard sounds crap when you know these guys normally make joysticks. What where they thinking: hey keyboards go into the same port as a joysticks? Well whatever they did a great job making this thing. Mod and Pitch Wheel and above all nice, touch sensitive(!) keys and all the rest mentioned before. I bought mine for $125, they are indeed not easy to get so buy one if you see one, in the Netherlands you can usually buy them at one of those mega discount dump things.

This thing is one of the best bargains I've ever found! I got one used for $60 and I use it as a MIDI controller for my Novation Bassstation...hasn't given me any problems yet. The data slider is like having 2 mod wheels.

Fuck buying a dummy MIDI keyboard for $200...unless you're really going to be hammering on this thing (only complaint is that it could be just a little sturdier).

Don't let the price of this controller sway you towards it. This thing is cheap for a reason. It is very unreliable, on mine you have to shake the plug if you are using an adepter to power it, because the power jack is so poor. The keys are very springy and you have to press all of them before you begin to play, otherwise they feel a little stiff. The pitch bend and modulation wheels are tiny (about an inch and a half). I wouldn't recomend this to anyone who is even a part time user. I stopped using mine a while ago.
