Payd it just 40$ from a friend who works at Roland Europe (hihihi) it's a 50/50 digital/analog synth that will ever be in your editing great sub-bass and fast and resonant leads.. it has also have the legato mode and portamento to note function..a must for any dance developer.. no effects in (except for the noisy chorus).. u can also make the famous Hoover patch, the Old school Techno patch used in tons of mixes..

The Juno 2 is tight. I programmed some nasty leads on that thing! Even with the lack of controls, it was still easy to use and program (using the alpha dial). The sad thing is that I had to sell it :(

I currently own a Juno-1. This one is actually my second one. The reason I purchased the second one was because I was an idiot getting rid of the first! In the Roland universe (out of all of their Synths) the Juno -1/2 is the best buy for your money, other than the XP-30. I originally bought the first one new at full price...So, after 8 years without it I fell in love with it all over again. Sounds are full of life, considering it's size and power - and - a must have with this unit is the PG-300 programmer. With this unit, the systems easy programmimg got even easier... And in closing, I don't care what most people say about the cassette interface (I know...Juno-1 only) This is one of my FAV features. So go hunting... you won't be sorry!

I just got the juno-2, its in very good shape and all function, button and keys working just fine but the problem is it wont sounds every six bote randomly, I've read that its the oscilator problem, and the output sounds distort and noisy... I brougt it to Roland official sevice centre in my country and they suck!!! suck badly and left me with lot of dissapointment... they said its a discontinued model and they got not sparepart and not willing to order the specific chips I need... well, it seem the juno has just been sick and killed... to bad that its still in exceptionally good shape... I've fooling around with the internal sounds... and from my opinion it has potetialy great sounds... I also have D-50, XP-80, U-220. KORG Trinity, X5D, i30 and IMHO the juno has very good analog sounds (may be becouse its a true analog) this one capable of producing sounds that my other board cant come close... wish its still in alive just fine and I'll be proud to use it on stage on top of my XP or Trinity... wish I still could get another one that still work... I just love the lead and synth sounds... BTW my board still cant sounds monophonicaly if I use the chord memory function, but unfortunately the pitch is not stable... well, I think I just have to make a decent ceremonial before I put it in the graveyard... hikkk.. =(
