I got mine from some bloke for $100(aus) because he didn't know what it really was! I think he wanted a technics kn550 or something. Anyway, this synth is a little ripper! if you want leads like 2Unlimited use, this is for you, just use the chord memory. The pads are ok as are the strings and basses are excellent. A little programming knowledge is all that's needed and then you will be creating all sorts of sounds and synth fx's. I have to see if all the paramaters really are controllable in real-time via MIDI. Good for dancey types of music, don't expect to play a piano concerto on it though. The lead sounds are stand-alone(when using chord memory), but ext fx are a must for most other sounds. Bad luck to the bloke from Orange who missed out on this one!!!!!!

I love my juno2! some of the keys don't work though I got it for 50 bucks. The midi on this is real user friendly. I just got it a month ago but have already created very warm strings. This keyboard belongs in your studio!

Nathan N8 a part-time user from Canada writes:
Far better than my last synth (kawai k11), it really rips @#$ up. The Patches make this thing worthwhile and standard in many modern musical compilations. I bought mine with the Roland expression footpad and it absolutely changes everthing. As far as sequencing with a computer it works well and hasn't let me down yet ! I wish I could tweak it more as I only have it going through a pan-delay. The chord function is a bit cheesy because of the over-play it got in the 90's and the menu screen is complicated but it I have never been dissapointed with the manueverability of the functions.

ken one a hobbyist user from the netherlands writes:
the alpha juno 2 is a must have for starting drum and bass producers the phat bass sounds and screaming strings will be off good use in your tracks! warning: this digital controled analog poly monster will kill all your virtual (fake)analog synth sounds!
