I just got hold of a second-hand Roland E-68. I'm still training on a keyboard and this is the first keyboard I ever owned. I have no user manual and urgently need one, as it seems that the previous owner made certain settings. Is it possible to revert back to factory settings. I can't do anything at this stage. As soon as I try and change accords the style and tones changes automatically. I am really frustrated, please help urgently or send an user-manual to my email adress. Thank you

Hola tengo este teclado hace 3 a�os y la verdad es que despues de leer el manual varias veces no soy capaz de enterarme de como funciona.Me gustaria que alguien me ayudara un poco porque me encanta la musica y no se como empezar.Tambien he visto que la disquetera se puede sustituir por un lector de tarjetas compac flash (http://www.2av.com.ua/newseng.htm)

I love my E68 and will never give it up. It takes some time to get used to the buttons but if you take the time to try every mode you will get the hang of it. Some limitations ,the organ sounds Hammond (A33) normally by using the sustain pedal you can emulate fast speed with the 60's organ sound .you can't in this voice ,however YOU load in a Hammond voice if you can take a rock organ midi off the net and play it first on the arranger by loading it from the floppy. I love the Honky Tonk voice but avoid using the upper voice,reverb and chorus buttons .Using just the velocity and taking down the octave one gives it a real ballsy sound,The strings are right on the money from 12 string and nylon guitars ,the electric guitars suck(get an electric guitar.As I said you have to play and experiment ,but it's a great backup keyboard and worth it if you can get one for 500 dollars or less. I picked my E-68 used out of a large instrument dealership for about half the price of a new one. It was a year old at the time. As a guitar player primarily, the best feature for me is the playback of midi files that can be used to fill out a small band (ie; pre-writing strings for Queensryche's 'Silent Lucidity' and having the band play along with it, though keeping in synch with it has been an obstacle. There are sounds I would have like to found in it, like a fatter Hammond B3, but the sounds that are there are very realistic, especially if you take care to treat them like the instruments they are depicting. (violin, saxophone, trumpet are all top notch! Nothing less than what I have come to expect from a long history with Roland products. Reliability is 100 percent. Only problem with that is there really isn't that much web documentation for it, I feel alone on it.

this keyboard is quiet good for home or for one man profesional keyboardist, but I'm not satisfied yet with this model, especially when I'll create my own user style, actually rightnow i'm looking for a sofware which have a format compatible in making user style, so I can create, convert a cd/tape music into user style program and play it in my keyboard...somebody help me please...?thank you
